broken image

A successful leader within the transportation industry, Robert Rogulic oversees operations at Tri-National, Inc., as CEO and president. Dedicated to staying abreast of changes within the field, Robert Rogulic belongs to the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA).

The only national trade association that represents the truckload industry, TCA maintains a number of programs to recognize professional truck drivers, including the Highway Angel program. This program was created in 1997, and it distinguishes drivers who have demonstrated a high level of courage and kindness while on the job. Over the years, the program has honored drivers for such good deeds as administering CPR, pulling a person from a burning vehicle, and changing a flat tire.

Highway Angels are nominated for the award by their colleagues, employers, or the motorists that they have helped. Individuals who witness acts of kindness carried out by truck drivers also can nominate individuals for recognition as a TCA Highway Angel. Once a nomination is sent in to the organization, TCA verifies the details that have been provided to ensure the recognition is given out to those who deserve it. Recipient of the Highway Angel honor receive a decal, patch, certification, and pin.
