Ducks Unlimited Elects New President

A veteran of the transportation industry, Robert Rogulic is the founder, president, and CEO of the trucking company Tri-National Inc. When not working, Robert Rogulic remains active with several organizations, including Ducks Unlimited, which undertakes important conservation efforts to ensure that waterfowl have continued access to clean wetlands.

At the beginning of June 2017, Ducks Unlimited elected a new president. Texas native Rogers Hoyt Jr. became the organization’s 44th president. Hoyt has already announced a number of focuses for the coming two years, including increasing advocacy for public policy that benefits waterfowl, and creating more opportunities for volunteer-led fundraising. In addition, he hopes to expand the Ducks Unlimited youth engagement programs, as well as education initiatives.

For more than three decades, Hoyt has volunteered with the organization and served it in various capacities. Formerly, he was president of Ducks Unlimited de Mexico and sat on the Ducks Unlimited Canada Board of Directors. He also served on the board of the organization’s land trust Wetlands America Trust.
